About

History

Ellwood City Community Health Foundation was previously known as The Ellwood City Hospital Foundation. Organized in 2010, The Ellwood City Hospital Foundations was a nonprofit corporation that operated exclusively for the support and benefit of The Ellwood City Hospital. When the hospital was sold on October 31, 2017, the Foundation separated itself from the hospital and changed its name to the Ellwood City Community Health Foundation. Today, the goal of the foundation is to promote and improve the health of the residents of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, and Beaver County.

Mission

Our mission is to improve, foster, promote, and enhance the quality and health of the general public of Ellwood City, and the counties of Lawrence and Beaver, Pennsylvania.
